Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed and cut
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup beef broth or water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Warm a large skillet over medium heat, then add the ground beef. Brown it for about 5–7 minutes.
  3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic; cook until the onion is translucent and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Prepare a greased baking dish and layer the sliced potatoes at the bottom.
  5. Follow with the beef mixture, and then add the fresh green beans on top.
  6. Pour the beef broth or water over the layers, season with salt and pepper.
  7. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and sprinkle shredded cheese over the top; bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes.
  9. Let it cool slightly before serving.
