Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or coconut aminos)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the skillet: In a large skillet, pour in the sesame oil and warm it over medium heat.
  2. Brown the pork: Add the ground pork and cook, breaking it apart, until browned and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. Add aromatics: Sprinkle in the minced garlic and ginger; cook for about a minute.
  4. Incorporate veggies: Toss in the cabbage and carrots. Sauté until softened but still crunchy.
  5. Mix in green onions: Stir in the green onions and drizzle with soy sauce; cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Season: Season with salt and pepper to taste.
