- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into cubes
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup pineapple juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- Skewers (wooden or metal)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, pineapple juice, garlic, and ginger to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
- Grill the skewers for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
- Serve with extra pineapple or a side salad for a complete meal.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar to the marinade.
