Deliciously spooky Halloween-themed cinnamon rolls that are perfect for a festive treat.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
- 1–2 tbsp milk (for icing)
- Food coloring (orange and black)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast, letting it sit for 5 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add melted butter, egg, and vanilla to the yeast mixture, then combine with the dry ingredients.
- Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth, then let it rise for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread with butter, and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into slices.
- Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix powdered sugar with milk and food coloring to create icing.
- Drizzle icing over the cooled rolls and decorate as desired.
Notes
- For a more intense flavor, add nutmeg to the filling.
- These rolls can be made ahead and frozen before baking.
- Use Halloween-themed sprinkles for decoration.
