- 1 cup guava juice
- 4 large eggs, separated

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, vegetable oil, guava juice, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the egg whites into the batter until no white streaks remain.
- Pour the batter into an ungreased chiffon cake pan.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Invert the pan to cool the cake completely before removing it.

- Guava puree can be used for a stronger flavor.
