Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil to create the marinade.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  5. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
