Description
A delicious and healthy Greek Turkey Burger topped with refreshing tzatziki sauce, perfect for a summer barbecue or a quick weeknight dinner.

- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 whole wheat burger buns
- 1 cup lettuce leaves
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1 cucumber, sliced
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, feta cheese, red onion, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 4 equal patties.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
- While the burgers are cooking, prepare the tzatziki sauce by mixing Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, and dill in a bowl.
- Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a turkey patty on each bun, topping with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and tzatziki sauce.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add some chopped jalapeños to the turkey mixture.
- These burgers can also be baked in the oven at 375°F for 20-25 minutes.
- Leftover tzatziki can be used as a dip for vegetables or pita chips.
