A simple and delicious apricot jam made with just two ingredients.
Ingredients
- Apricots – 1 kg
- Sugar – 500 g
Instructions
- Wash and pit the apricots, then cut them into halves.
- In a large pot, combine the apricots and sugar.
- Let the mixture sit for about 30 minutes to allow the apricots to release their juices.
- Heat the pot over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar dissolves.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for about 20-30 minutes, stirring frequently until it thickens.
- Test the jam for doneness by placing a spoonful on a cold plate; if it holds its shape, it’s ready.
- Pour the hot jam into sterilized jars and seal them immediately.

- Ensure jars are properly sterilized to prevent spoilage.
- Adjust sugar according to the sweetness of the apricots.
- This jam can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 6 months.
