Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Add the peanut butter, eggs, honey (or maple syrup), baking soda, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas and mix until well combined.
  4. If using, fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool before serving.
