A delightful twist on traditional tiramisu using pound cake for a quick and easy dessert.

- 1 pound cake, sliced
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prepare the coffee and let it cool.
- In a bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- In another bowl, mix the mascarpone cheese until smooth.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone cheese until well combined.
- Dip each slice of pound cake into the cooled coffee briefly.
- Layer the dipped pound cake slices in a serving dish.
- Spread a layer of the mascarpone mixture over the pound cake.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with the mascarpone mixture on top.
- Dust the top with cocoa powder.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a stronger coffee flavor, use espresso instead of brewed coffee.
- Feel free to add chocolate shavings on top for extra decoration.
- This dessert can be made a day in advance for better flavor.
