Description

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot. Lay them flat and ensure they’re evenly spaced for consistent cooking.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning over the chicken. Rub it in for even coating.
  3. Add the cream cheese on top of the chicken to melt during cooking.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Shred the chicken using two forks and mix it with the cream cheese and ranch.
  6. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon until well combined.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

This dish can be prepared ahead and stored in the refrigerator overnight before cooking. For quicker cooking, use an Instant Pot.
