- 1 package of wonton wrappers
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Oil for frying
- Additional powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, blueberries, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Place a teaspoon of the cheesecake mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
- Fold the wonton over to form a triangle and seal the edges with a little water.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the wontons in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Dust with additional powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying to avoid soggy wontons.
