- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion granules
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning mix
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ¼ teaspoon red chili flakes
- 1 ½ cups chicken broth
- 1 lb cheese tortellini
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 2 cups baby spinach
- ⅓ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
Instructions
- Prep the Slow Cooker: Lightly spray the inside with olive oil.
- Add the Chicken: Arrange the chicken breasts in a single layer.
- Build the Flavor Base: Pour marinara sauce over the chicken and add spices.
- Cover and Cook: Lock the lid on, set to LOW, and cook for about 4 hours.
- Shred the Chicken: Remove and shred the chicken, returning it to the pot.
- Incorporate the Tortellini: Add cheese tortellini, mozzarella cheese, and heavy cream.
- Cook a Little Longer: Cover and let it cook on LOW for 30 minutes.
- Add Spinach: Stir in baby spinach and cover for another 10 minutes.

Notes
For a vegetarian version, replace chicken with chickpeas and use vegetable broth.
