Description

Ingredients

  • Dill pickle slices
  • Seasoned breadcrumbs
  • Cheese (pepper jack or cheddar)
  • Oil (for frying)
  • Ranch dressing or spicy aioli (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oil in a frying pan until shimmering at around 350°F (175°C).
  2. Coat dill pickle slices in seasoned breadcrumbs until fully covered.
  3. Fry the coated pickles for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  5. Serve hot with ranch dressing or spicy aioli for dipping.

Notes

You can swap dill pickles for bread-and-butter slices for a sweeter twist. Experiment with different cheeses!
