- 1 cup buttermilk

- 4 sandwich buns

- Mayonnaise (optional)
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
- In a bowl, mix flour, lemon pepper seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- Remove chicken from buttermilk and coat in the flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- Toast the sandwich buns lightly.
- Assemble the sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise if desired.
