- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 4 sandwich buns
- 2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
- Optional: extra Parmesan for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Coat each chicken breast in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- While the chicken is baking, prepare the sandwich buns by toasting them lightly.
- Once the chicken is done, assemble the sandwiches by placing crispy chicken on the bottom half of each bun.
- Add chopped romaine lettuce and drizzle with Caesar dressing.
- Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in buttermilk for a few hours before breading.
- Feel free to add additional toppings like tomatoes or bacon.
- This sandwich can be made ahead of time and reheated for a quick meal.
