Crispy Bang Bang Salmon Bites are a delicious and irresistible appetizer featuring tender salmon coated in a crispy batter and tossed in a spicy, creamy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon fillet, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to create the Bang Bang sauce.
  2. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Dredge each salmon piece in flour, dip in egg, and coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the salmon bites until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  7. Toss the crispy salmon bites in the Bang Bang sauce before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, double coat the salmon bites by repeating the egg and breadcrumb steps.
  • Adjust the spiciness of the sauce by adding more or less sriracha.
  • Serve with lime wedges for added flavor.
