Ingredients

  • 2 cups of broccoli florets
  • 2 cups of cauliflower florets
  • 1 cup of carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup of green beans, trimmed
  • 1 cup of mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 cups of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of grated cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large pot, steam the broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and green beans until just tender.
  3. In a skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
  4. Add the mushrooms to the skillet and cook until soft.
  5. In a large bowl, combine the steamed vegetables, sautéed onion and garlic, heavy cream, cheese, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with breadcrumbs.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
