- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
- Add the diced chicken and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning; cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic; sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked chicken and pasta to the sauce; toss to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier dish, add more Cajun seasoning.
- Can substitute chicken with shrimp or vegetables for a different variation.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
