- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 8 oz brie cheese
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 4 oz pancetta, diced
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and place it in a tart pan.
- Slice the brie cheese and layer it evenly over the pastry.
- In a skillet, cook the diced pancetta until crispy, then add the fresh cranberries and thyme, cooking until the cranberries begin to burst.
- Spread the cranberry and pancetta mixture over the brie.
- Drizzle honey over the top.
- Brush the edges of the pastry with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, omit the pancetta.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
