  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl, then gradually mix into the creamed mixture.
  5. Stir in the oats, chocolate chips, nuts, and coconut until evenly distributed.
  6. Scoop rounded portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
