- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, sift together cake flour and granulated sugar.
- In a separate bowl, beat egg whites with salt and cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the egg whites, folding gently.
- Stir in shredded coconut and vanilla extract.
- Pour the batter into an ungreased angel food cake pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the cake is golden and springs back when touched.
- Remove from the oven and invert the pan to cool completely.
- For the glaze, mix passion fruit juice and powdered sugar until smooth.
