Instructions
- In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it begins to simmer.
- Remove from heat and add chocolate chips, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Allow the chocolate mixture to cool slightly, then fold in powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
- Pour the chocolate filling into the pre-made pie crust and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
- Once set, top with cherry pie filling and whipped cream before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
- Make sure the chocolate mixture is cool before adding to the pie crust to prevent it from melting.
