- 500g chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2–3 green chilies, slit
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon cornflour (optional for thickening)
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken pieces with soy sauce, chili sauce, and ginger-garlic paste for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onions until translucent.
- Add the marinated chicken and cook until it turns golden brown.
- Add the bell pepper and green chilies, and stir-fry for a few minutes.
- If making gravy, add water and cornflour to thicken the sauce; otherwise, cook until the chicken is fully done for the dry version.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve hot with rice or noodles.

- Adjust the spice level according to your preference.
- For a vegetarian version, substitute chicken with tofu or paneer.
