Description

A delightful blend of grilled chicken, creamy avocado, and melted cheese between perfectly toasted bread.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 grilled chicken breast, sliced
  • 1 ripe avocado, mashed
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter (for grilling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your skillet over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of bread generously.
  3. Spread the mashed avocado on the unbuttered side of one slice.
  4. Layer the sliced grilled chicken atop the avocado, and then sprinkle the shredded cheese over it.
  5. Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side facing out.
  6. Grill the sandwich for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Flip the sandwich using the spatula and grill the other side until golden and cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days. Reheat in a skillet or oven for the best texture.
