Description

Delicious and creamy lasagna rolls filled with spinach and ricotta cheese, topped with marinara sauce and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix together spinach, ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Take a lasagna noodle, spread a portion of the spinach and ricotta mixture on it, and roll it up. Place it seam-side down in the baking dish.
  6. Repeat with the remaining noodles and filling.
  7. Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the rolled lasagna and sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

  • For a vegetarian option, ensure the marinara sauce is meat-free.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables like mushrooms or zucchini to the filling.
