- 2 cups cooked ham, diced

- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to create a roux.
- Gradually whisk in the milk and cream, cooking until the sauce thickens.
- In a greased baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes, followed by half of the diced ham and half of the cheese.
- Pour half of the cream sauce over the layers.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, ham, cheese, and sauce.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
