- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 bag tater tots (about 32 oz)
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the ground beef and diced onion in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
- Drain off excess fat from the beef.
- Season the beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper; stir in the milk.
- Layer half of the tater tots in a greased baking dish, followed by the beef mixture and half of the cheese.
- Add the remaining tater tots and cheese on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
