Ingredients

- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 cup diced apples
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, egg, and melted butter.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Fold in the diced apples.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
- Serve warm topped with caramel sauce.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add cinnamon to the batter.
- Use a variety of apples for a mix of sweetness and tartness.
- Leftover pancakes can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
