Ingredients

  • 2 cups blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
  2. Mix together the oats, flour, brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl until crumbly.
  3. Press half of the oat mixture firmly into the bottom of the greased baking dish.
  4. Beat together the cream cheese, sugar, flour, egg, and vanilla extract in another bowl until smooth and creamy.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crust and sprinkle the blueberries on top.
  6. Crumble the remaining oat mixture over the blueberries.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool completely before cutting into squares.

For best results, ensure the cream cheese is softened and allow the bars to cool completely before cutting.
