Ingredients

- 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a food processor, blend the black beans until smooth.
- Add cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, melted coconut oil, eggs, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt to the food processor and blend until well combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips if using.
- Pour the batter into a greased mini muffin tin.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
- These brownie bites can be frozen for longer storage.
- Feel free to add nuts or dried fruit for extra texture.
