- 1/2 cup refried beans

- 1 tsp chili powder

- 8 large flour tortillas
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add onions, garlic powder, chili powder, and cumin to the beef and cook until onions are soft.
- Stir in refried beans and cheese until melted and well combined.
- Place a generous amount of the beef mixture in the center of each tortilla.
- Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling and roll it up tightly.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- Fry each chimichanga until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite toppings like salsa, guacamole, or sour cream.

- For a healthier option, you can bake the chimichangas instead of frying them.
