- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 10 small flour tortillas
- Cooking spray or olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined.
- Place a small amount of the chicken mixture onto each tortilla and roll tightly.
- Place the rolled taquitos seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spray the taquitos lightly with cooking spray or brush with olive oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add chopped jalapeños or green onions to the filling.
- These taquitos can be frozen before baking; just add a few extra minutes to the baking time if cooking from frozen.
