Ingredients

  • 1 block firm tofu, pressed and drained
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the pressed tofu into bite-sized cubes.
  3. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and let them soak for at least 15 minutes.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine breadcrumbs and cornstarch.
  6. Coat each marinated tofu cube in the breadcrumb mixture.
  7. Place the coated tofu nuggets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  8. Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  9. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
